Founded in 1920 by Mr René FRICOUT, an Engineer who graduated from the Polytechnique School of Paris and a Colonel of the French Army, Niabang Ranch is located in the Niabang village, on a area of approximately 150 ha. 

The ranch is the biggest employer of the area; it includes a farm with organic standards and a  center of eco-tourism. 
The activities include: agriculture, livestock, horticulture, fish farming, bee keeping, as well as a mineral water source and a 30 ha pozzolan mine. The ranch also serves as headquarter to the Niabang foundation, a philanthropic organization.
